Sage Rubinstein, MA, LMHC
is a licensed mental health counselor. Sage received her masters in mental health counseling at Yeshiva University. During this time, she specialized in outpatient addiction treatment at Hazelden New York and cultivated a passion helping clients recover from substance abuse and dependence. After relocating back to her hometown of Miami, FL, Sage began working at the Oliver-Pyatt Centers where she served as a primary therapist, assisting clients in the intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential levels of care. Sage provides individual and group therapy to individuals struggling with eating disorder and other psychiatric illness. She is also currently pursuing certification in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence based approach for treating clients who have suffered from trauma. In her practice, Sage ascribes to a psychodynamic approach with her patients that allows her to focus on the person as a whole, not just their presenting concerns. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and families. She believes the client is the expert in their lives and is there to guide them in the process of self-exploration, growth, and understanding with compassion, directness, and humor.
